Sierra Leone's war against EbolA
The current outbreak is the deadliest since Ebola was discovered in 1976
The disease infects humans through close contact with infected animals, including chimpanzees, fruit bats and forest antelope.
It then spreads between humans by direct contact with infected blood, bodily fluids or organs, or indirectly through contact with contaminated environments. Even funerals of Ebola victims can be a risk, if mourners have direct contact with the body of the deceased

Sierra Leone's war against Ebola
In Sierra Leone's Kailahun province, the world's largest Ebola outbreak continues to spread through remote villages. One of the few lines of defence comes from a treatment centre run by the charity Medicins sans Frontieres (MSF).
While there is no specific cure for the disease, treatment of its symptoms can significantly reduce its fatality rate. With an overstreched team and a series of logisitical obstacles inherent in treating a contagious virus in a remote location, WE are doing all what we can.
